Garden City Elementary held a special program in remembrance of September 11, 2001.

During the ceremony, Garden City Elementary students honored Military personnel (and Veterans), policemen, fireman and all who risk their lives for the freedom and safety of Americans everywhere.

Students all gathered outside around the flag pole. Several patrols ceremoniously raised the flag with assistance from a local Marine. The students at Garden City want everyone to know that they appreciate the service that men and women perform every day to ensure they remain safe.
